Big taste of the Far East

Intriguing combination of Szechuan pepper, seaweed, soybean sauce and crispy roasted cashews.

We use Szechuan pepper from wild harvesting. Szechuan (or Sichuan) pepper is a typical far eastern spice used in China and Japan in particular for soups. It is not related to black pepper or chili pepper. The taste has a touch of lemon and creates a slight tingle.

Wakame seaweed is a type of marine algae and a sea vegetable that brings a hint of sea to our cashews.

The soybean sauce we use is a gluten-free traditionally brewed soybean sauce without any preservatives or artificial flavours, just soybeans, salt and vinegar.

Die grundtönigen Aromen von Nüssen und Alge werden durch die frische nachklingende Note des Szechuanpfeffers gekonnt kontrastiert. Eine abenteuerliche Kombination - die gelungen ist. Mehr solche außergewöhnlichen Kombinationen!!!

Diese Komposition ist meine Lieblingssorte. Sie verknüpft die Geschmackswelten von Japan und China perfekt ohne eine davon dominieren zu lassen!
