Intriguing combination of Szechuan pepper, seaweed, soybean sauce and crispy roasted cashews.
We use Szechuan pepper from wild harvesting. Szechuan (or Sichuan) pepper is a typical far eastern spice used in China and Japan in particular for soups. It is not related to black pepper or chili pepper. The taste has a touch of lemon and creates a slight tingle.
Wakame seaweed is a type of marine algae and a sea vegetable that brings a hint of sea to our cashews.
The soybean sauce we use is a gluten-free traditionally brewed soybean sauce without any preservatives or artificial flavours, just soybeans, salt and vinegar.
